Try to use SparkIV

I'm trying to edit ped models; SparkIV literally cannot do what I need. OpenIV is the only one with import/export to odd.

Got the latest version of GIMS? A recent update fixed an issue with LODs, that might be the issue, does the medium LOD show through the low LOD?

I'm not even editing it in GIMS; all I'm doing is selecting the wdd and wtd, exporting to openFormats, and importing the odd and otd.

Sorry, I thought you were importing an edited ped, the issue you described sounds exactly the same as the one I had when importing.

No known solution, then?

Are OpenIV devs aware, or should I try to tell them?

Uh, I think you should report it to them. Also, what version do you have? I have 0.94 and it doesn't screw the face up.
