Issues installing new skin on CVPI

Featured Replies

Hello all. I'm totally a noob at modding stuff, but I have some questions. I just installed http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/8704-1999-ford-crown-victoria-with-whelen-edge-lightbar/ this CVPI. It doesn't come with a skin on it so i'm trying to add http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/8697-ford-crown-cvpi-lapdlspd-skin-for-whelen-model/ this skin. The readme isn't very detailed at all and I can't figure out how to get this skin on the CVPI. I have the model installed into the game (I have verified this) but it has no texture on it.

Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated!

I made that skin, and I don't know of it fits for that car. But like Kilyin said, you have to dubbel click on the ytd files and replace ALL skins.

You said that it fits the crown vic with the whelen bar which this model has

Yes, the model that I uploaded. But if you follow the instructions above you should be fine.

Got a link to the model you uploaded? Would be more than happy to use your model as long as I can get a texture on it
