Help request for modding

Hi, how come sometimes when I install a mod my GTA updates and other times it doesn't? For example, I changed my police officer skin with a Norwegian police officer and it went through smoothly.. But when I put through a car skin, it updated 2gb..

I don't understand..

Second time someone has told me to do this, but I just don't get it. I hate how its hard to mod. god..

I just don't understand how my mods will work when the files are in a separate folder, or how the game is going to start when there are duplicate files

Wait. Does asi loader prioritise mods folder first before GTA V original files? Eg. when I launch the game, it will run x64 from mods first instead of GTA V?

If you have OpenIV.asi and an asi loader, OpenIV will force the game to try to use the files in the mods folder first.

Yes, it will run eg. x64e.rpf from the mods folder if possible.
