OpenIV Mods folder not working.

Featured Replies

So, I have finally come around to modding GTA V (outside of script mods), but I seem to be having some problems installing car mods. I own the disc version, so I've been trying to use to use to "mods" folder in OpenIV. I have followed the tutorial on their site to a tee, but the modded car never shows up in-game.

The model I'm trying to install is this.

If anyone could help me out, that would be great.

The directory of the .rpf in the mods folder is: "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64e.rpf."

Once in the .rpf, the directory is as follows: "GTA V\mods\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf" and I am trying to replace "sheriff.yft," "sheriff.ytd," and "sheriff_hi.yft."

Once in game, only the original sheriff cruiser shows up while using a trainer to spawn it.

The sheriff vehicles load from GTA V\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf

So the mod folder should look like GTA V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf

Ah, I see, thanks. Is there a centralized place with all this information? Certainly isn't as straight forward as in GTA IV haha.
