Suggestion: Delete backup units too far away in persuit

Featured Replies

@Sam

Especially chasing fast cars,those backup units seem left behind far away forever,so I have to call new ones otherwise it becomes quite boring.But when the suspects stop,those left behind amusingly rush into the scene,causing the whole game nearly frozen for there're too many of them.

That's crazy,I think those units keep staying outside the search area should be deleted,which is also what the game does when police chasing the player.

I think the idea was slower response times, considering in GTAIV sometimes AI would spawn literally next ontop of the pursuit. The idea here may of been to to increase response time, just give them time to respond and don't spam the backup. Although if they are WAY too far (say, across the entire map) then they probably should be deleted since they most likely won't make it to the chase.

If I'm right about the response times I think its a great feature.
