Help with my mod

Featured Replies

Okay so i am really new to C# i know the basics and stuff and now i wanna make a small and simple mod for Gta V but i am having trouble figuring out how to get basic text displayed on the screen and how to place that text. If somebody knows how to do it please help me and you will get mentioned in the credits for my first mod as a little reward :D

I've moved your thread to the GTA V modding Tutorials and Questions forum section as this is more modding oriented.
Additionally I suggest you check out the RagePluginHook forums and documentation for answers, as well as give more information as to what you're using so modders can help you out.

Oh okay thanks! okay so basically my idea for my mod is more Scripthook oriented than it is RageHook but what i am trying to do is make a simple mod (to get the hang of how to do it so i can start on making API in the very near future) where it´s going to be a little text displaying what radio station you are listening to without having to open the actual radiowheel and what music is playing. Next i wanna expand it where i want to make a shortcut (a basic KeyPress event i am imagining) to change the radio station with the of one button. The reason why i asked here is because i know this forum is full of fantastic modders and scripters.

If you are going for ScripthookV .net hook, this YouTube series can learn you the basics. It's also a good idea to look in some of the example code provided by Scripthookv .net.

If you are going for RAGE plugin hook, which i personally use, then it will again be easier to learn if you look through the example code.

Good luck! :)
