To be clear you need the following to run LSPDFR 0.2a correctly.

You don't actually need scripthook, but yes you need rage installed correctly as well as lspdfr in the correct location.

Thanks for the info. I updated everything as you said, but still running into the issue with F4 doing nothing.. the mod loads, the map shows police station locations, the logo is on the bottom right hand side of the screen.. just need that F4 to work.. earlier someone said something about the F4 command missing from some ini file, but I rather not mess around with that stuff and just wait to see if another update is released

It actually runs better without Scripthook. The more you add onto the vanilla install, the less reliable it will be.

very true..Glad I made a backup of the vanilla file on a flash drive..These guys must have major headaches by now

WHEN I PRESS F4 IT DOES NO DO ANYTHING WHY?

From what I can tell, something has bugged out User Interfaces. I have this issue with F4 for LSPDFR and with the UI for Finkone's Police Radio. My workaround for the time being is to install a trainer so I can teleport or fix my vehicle since thats mainly what I use the F4 for. 

 

Another wonderful tip before everyone says it's necessary for loading plugins:

Add any plugins you have (Police Radio,SpeedRadar,Etc.) to the "startup.rphs" file.

This file opens in notepad and all you have to do is start a new line and type LoadPlugin NameofPlugin.dll and then save the document. Also, if a plugin comes with the "startup.rphs" file, DO NOT replace the original one with it. This may lead to issues loading LSPDFR if you overwrite the file since this file is what RageHook references when it loads plugins.

 

For a detailed look on how to do this, Jeff Favignano released a wonderful how to on his youtube channel about installing mods (sorry I suck at linking things so you'll just have to find it unless someone else would like to link it here).

Hope this at least gets some of you going again.
