many say that the Brazilian police are corrupt, this is not true.
The problem is that in Brazil the policeman is killed in many occurrences and the government does not help, we do not have cars, we have no weapons.
When police dies has dont has riot,but  gangster drug dealer when they die the Brazilian media is riot.

Else, the police officer receives less than 1200 BRL or R $ 400

Google says in Baltimore PD, for example, it's around $50 000 per year, or $4 000 per month. Up to $70 000 in 11 years. 

Meanwhile in Russia it's around $800 per month. We are your BRICS friends :D

Brazil need military government

The weapons are efficient, but has limit of ammunition that the police can use.
If the police kill suspected even by defense, it can be arrested if the suspect is shot in the back.

Depending on where you live, $50,000 can either be really good or really bad here in America. In my area, that's very very very bad.

Well, if one wants to make money he shouldn't become a civil servant, there's no way you can make money here, in any country. Maybe in Dubai... 

Actually in B-more I worked for $12 p/h. Wasn't so bad, I could afford a rental car (as it says in GTAV, for that price be grateful it still works) and a decent room (had to share tho). And on Sundays I went to the Harbor to get myself a steak :D

Yeah Baltimore is notably cheaper than a lot of other cities, not sure why though. I've lived in Baltimore a few years and it was cheap as a bubble gum machine. I decided to move out though, had my reasons. Now I live in one of the wealthiest counties in the country, and I regret moving here. I can barely afford to live here. Upper middle class single family homes run at about $2 million. 

With the salary of the police here, you can buy a Honda Civic used after two years, so if you save a lot.
