Shootouts everywhere

Right, first of all, G17 media, you guys are amazing. I love the mod
However, I am the kind of person who likes to patrol in the hood, Training day/End of Watch-style, feel me? Doing all that highway patrol stuff isn't for me. I'm all about gangs/narcotics.
With this mod, 0.2, it's literally impossible to drive anywhere near those areas without getting into a gunfight every minute. It's not realistic and honestly is quite annoying. It feels like a complete warzone, and the worst part about it is that we can't even choose to be a marine/army soldier!

Is this something I can fix? I read that Sam added some experimental relationship stuff between NPCs and that's what's causing the issue. Will the "keep calm" plugin work? The NPCs won't attack each other all the damn time?
Any suggestion is very much appreciated.

Really? You downloaded a police mod. If you want to play military, Arma3 is 3 clicks the other way.

But agreed for the rest, i like to play undercover in gang areas alot more then being a traffic officer, but right now it's not doable. I just like to think this will be fixed soon, either by G17 itself or a modder will definitely take care of it. Don't know about the keep-calm plugin, since i think that's only for the 'frightend' ped that keeps running away from battle and not the hardcore gangbangers that all carry guns and will in no way run away from combat.

I agree with you, I was just ingame twenty minutes ago and experienced a shootout or a brawl every minute I was in the hood, it is really annoying, and this has only happened since I installed LSPDFR.

I love being undercover and doing gang and narcotics stuff in the hood, but this problem just ruins my immersion (highway patrols & such are not my style at all).

There's a nice spot in the Vagos gang area where I run a night op in a specific area of their turf I can piss off about 20 of these dudes to start shooting at me including a dog chasing at me. When all of LS backup comes in that's when either half are dead or they scatter, the rest still shooting get smoked by the tons of police that respond to the shooting. The long part is the cleanup and body pickup for the Corner including blocking off an entire intersection while having at least two EMS ambulances responding. At the end of the night it look like a gang war broke and there was bodies everywhere.
