AI Police vehicles come to a "halt" and in a confused state?

Featured Replies

I appreciate the effort that has gone in to developing 0.2 and I'm loving the improvements and new features so far but I'm having this one weird issue where police vehicles just come to a complete stop, like as if the AI is confused as to what they're doing. The police backup works fine up to now but it's somehow affected those who aren't in a pursuit and it breaks the immersion slightly. I'm not sure if anyone else can reproduce the issue I'm experiencing but I would be grateful if anyone can provide either a temporary or permanent solution. Officers on foot aren't affected however. Another thing I would like to add is that the issue sometimes occurs and other times it doesn't so I'm not sure what is causing it.

I got the issue with LukeD's new callouts. Other than that, I haven't played long enough to get any issues.

Do you use a trainer? If so, do you have "Police ignore player" enabled? That causes the police to glitch out in my experience.

You may be right there, I'll see if disabling that fixes it. Edit: Thanks for the solution, at least I know that seems to cause it which is unfortunate.

I'm hoping my issue is just linked with the native trainer but I'll also see if the issue is caused by the new call-outs. Edit: I don't seem to have this issue with LukeD's new callouts, must have been trainer related.
