Game will not load. Says gta4 has stopped working.

Featured Replies

When I try to start gta4 after downloading the LCPDFR mod it will not start. I click on the logo, and then it says it has stopped working. Tried doing the diagnostic report but that also says it has stopped working after I click the start button on it. Any help would be great, I've tried the stuff listed in the sticky with no luck.

I am also having the same problem. I ran the diagnostic, and everything came back with no errors, but when I load the game and try to activate the mod, I am getting a similar problem that dietrich is getting. Not sure what more there is to do. I have even reinstalled the mod 4 times and still the same problem.

Also guys, make sure your game is using supported patches. I'm not sure if this is the problem though...

I use Patch 1.0.7 for GTA IV, and Patch 1.0.2 for EFLC. You have to have Patch 1.0.2 for EFLC, as Patch 1 will not work.

Both GTA IV and EFLC were purchased threw Steam, so they should be updated to what the mod needs.
