Hello, I am having some issues with my LCPDFR startup.

It is saying the script wont load and etc.

I have els v8 installed and i am currently useing the steam version.

I have also been doing some research on this error for a few hours now, I have done the following

• Made folder not read only
• run the game as administrator
• have installed microsoft C++ 2012
• attempted to ruin the diagnostics tool but after 2 secconds program crashed
• attempted to search files for crash records but crashed as well once trying to open

any help will be appreciated

intel tm2 3.00 ghz processor

nvidia geforce gt 610 1gb ddr3

What is the exact error it's saying? Can you provide us with the LCPDFR log which can be found in the root directory of GTAIV

there you go, thats what i could find but i didnt exactly find lcpdfr.log

i have the same problem, help would be good.

Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR!

Please do the following: 

• Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks or people using pirated software
• Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - These patches are needed.  
• Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.
• Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
• Ensure that AdvancedHook.dll, ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
• Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.
• Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.
• Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.

In some cases, your issue is resolved after following the above steps. If it did help, please let everyone know in the topic that your issue is resolved. If you do have to post a topic, do the following;

do one thing real quick just to see if it helps. install els v.8.5. from what i remember els v8.0 comes with an outdated version of advanced hook. let me know if this helps. if not we can go from there.

I use spark iv to mod the guns ocasionally,I use els v8.5

and i have done all that it says above.
