GTA V Vehicle Models and ELS?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I only have 2 simple questions.

1. Are there any new vehicle models released to replace standard GTA vehicles? (i.e. a CVPI for the Vapid Cruiser) If not, do modders have any plans on releasing such models?

2. Is there going to be a new version of ELS?

Maybe someone can answer those questions...

And by the way, sorry for the bad english...

  1. OpenIV does not support custom vehicle models yet, to my understanding, but does support custom vehicle skins.
  2. Not sure about ELS, but the majority opinion I've seen is that the lights in gta5 are pretty good as-is. This doesn't mean that there aren't people out there who want to be able to customize them.

Going on the ELS note - I'd love to see it. People sit and argue that the lights in game are good as is. That's fine and dandy.

Why wouldn't you want the realism of having different flash patterns? Different siren tones? Traffic Advisors? Better looking lights? Different colored lights? It's just a no-brainer to me.

If you don't like ELS you wouldn't have to install it. On GTAIV ELS and LCPDFR went together like Bread and Butter. There's no reason why ELS shouldn't be supported and be desired for GTA V.

Just my two pennies.
