Hello all,

My game starts up fine, no issues. I walk into the arrow at the station to start the sequence to go on duty and is starts out normal with the sparkling things over the "loading" word but then.... it slows down..... the sparkles act like they are in slow motion and I never get any further than that. My drivers are all up to date ect, never had this issue before.

Diagnostics tool advises that something is wrong with a "Log check". States "log files checked, please see report for more details". Then I get an error advising that it "failed to write log file, access is denied. Copy to clipboard?"

When you enter the station, you teleport. We all know how GTA IV handles teleports, probably can't handle it.

To verify that, post your specs.

until we can figure out your problem you can forceduty if you want instead of going to the station. Press Alt P then press ~ and type forceduty. you can change between cops by using the Native Trainer :) hope this helps a little bit.
