[3DS Max] Trouble Moving a Part

Featured Replies

So I'm probably doing something incredibly stupid like forgetting to check a box or something of that nature.

Anyways, I have this cool hat, however it is too far forwards for the cop model I'm using.

So I go through all the steps of importing the files into 3ds with 'GIMS' (Something like that), and then moving the hat back seems incredibly easy.

However, every time I export the hat, I look at it in OpenIV and it's never moved no matter what I do.

I've tried moving every single part back (dev_model, m_y_cop. *children, head_000, etc..) and nothing seems to work.

It's such an easy task and yet I can't figure out how to do it.

(If you're wondering, I don't think I'm importing/exporting wrong since the model is fine when I look at it, just not moved back).
