It's been done guys. "Lights and Sirens Script" lets you control well... lights and sirens. It's a really great mod that just makes the game so much better.

​I watched the videos people posted in the thread, it looks pretty interesting but it's certainly not on the level of detail that I'd like to have from an ELS mod.

That said, if nothing more in-depth is released, that mod would certainly do as a replacement. Maybe the person who made it will be able to figure out how to make it better, anyway?

A lot of people wants new light patterns, some people don't want ELS as they're fine with the game vanilla lights. Well, I'm one of those people who would like to see improved radiation behaviors ( each light source has a ground radiation emitting, ) Whelen Flash patterns, Corner Strobes ( with flash radiations ) and traffic advisory. It'll 100x improve the game realism and make future police mods look more realistic than the 'wee and woos ' lights. Also, the rotor lights are awfully sped up too fast or lacks variations. Some people are from countries where there the concept of simple lights and some people are from countries where there are lots of lights ( dominated by LED warning technology market )

Notice how the lights react to the environment. This is what i would like to see in GTA V.
