problem with outer edge

So i am making a car with a whelen outer edge, from TraumaPak. He only includes one side, so i mirror it over the applicable axis and it looks right in zmodeler, but when in game it looks like its turned around and barely visible. Is this because i need to include a dummy or something? I can take pictures if needed, but it is kinda a pain in the @*** to take pics in game lol i get the black screen problem and would have to download fraps.

    Can't really help you without pics, but I can tell you the proper way to mirror something is to mirror, flip once (press F once), then go to normal -> calculate.
