Flickering textures and crashing after 5 minutes

So I've been playing the game fine for about a week, but recently the game has been giving me flickering textures, (with occasional white flashing) and then it crashes completely after about five minutes of gameplay, usually when shooting or driving. This only started to occur after the most recent Nvidia driver, and I've tested a backup copy of the game with no mods, and still have the same issue. Does anyone else have this issue or a fix? It's massively annoying, and I can't figure out why it's suddenly started doing this.

EDIT: Problem fixed: turned out to be a bad mod texture I installed, seems to be working OK after I removed it.
