Go to 0:52 in the video and check out that lightbar. It's a hybrid of LED and Halogen spinners. There's a better look at it at 6:30. Any idea what brand this is?

Yeah the aussies!

Most are holden commodores (omega) from Western Australian police I think.

There are also some ford falcons and ford territories in the unmarked cars with unmarked/non-police commodores.

Dignitary cars all have CHOGM number plates (Commonwelath Heads of Government Meeting).

Lightbar though I'm not too sure, there's a group of aussies on GPM who might be able to pick it though.

Is this something that is becoming frequent over there? Because it seems to me that the LED largely makes the halogen spinners redundant, since the LEDs are much much brighter.

Fbifriday - I know the Victorians are testing the hybrids, I was having a chat to some of the traffic boys on the border the other day. The LED's are great for traffic stops, cut through a lot better than dome but the domes were working better at taskings as they threw out more wide spread light
