Once you find the Non-els cars you want to put in your game and you have downloaded them.

I suggest Sam's Non-els cars by the way those are the ones I use in game.

**Spark IV**

1. Open Spark IV

2. Navigate to (Gta IV-> PC -> Models -> Cdimages -> vehicles.img)

3. import the new cars you want to put in

4. Rebuild & Save

**Open IV**

1. Navigate to (GTA IV -> PC -> Models -> Cdimages -> Vehicles.img)

2. Turn on Edit Mode

3. Replace the cars in there with the new ones you want.

4. Turn off Edit mode and close Open IV

which one is best spark iv or open iv?

I like open 4 better personally. It has much more versatility when compared to spark 4. It lets you look at the cars with a 3d viewer, and you can work more with WTD's inside of open 4. Also openIV is constantly being updated, which is a big plus.

What about backuping images?

All you do is whatever image file your going to modify make a copy of it and save it somewhere on your computer where you won't delete it. It can be a long process of uninstalling GTA IV and re-installing if you don't.

What about backuping images?

With windows explorer, navigate to your GTA4 installation folder, (USUALLY c:/program files (x86)/Rockstar Games/Grand Theft Auto 4/ (or if you use steam C:/program files (x86)/steam/steam apps/common/Grand Theft Auto IV/)).

After that, Go threw the 'pc' folder, then and the 'cdimages' folder. Once you're there you'll be presented with alot of '*.img' files. Just make a copy of "Vehicles.img", it will be saved most likely as "vehicles - copy.img". That will be your backup.
