How to have cars spawn multiple colors?

Featured Replies

Hello I wanted to know how I can get my police cars to spawn different colors. Also if I make a texture how do I make sure that you will see the different colors under the lettering. Any help on this would be great.

Thanks.

Depends on the texture. If it's transparent with only decals etc., you can edit the carcols.dat. But if the texture is colorful AND with decals, it will only change the colors of some little parts that don't really have a texture.

Yeah I am making the texture without any background color and only with the lettering in color. I have a unmarked Tahoe that changes from white, black, and dark grey. and wanted one of my other cars that I have marked to do the same. I will give the carcols.dat a try.

thanks.
