Making a Game

Featured Replies

Hi. I am making a new game. The game is called "Roll the Ball", and it is going to be ran in a web browser and an install able game. The objective in the game is to collect all the cubes on the level and then you would beat the level. So far there is only one level, but I will be making more so stay tuned.

If you would like to take a demo of the game you can download it here:

One tip/sight I want to give is the float speed you have on the player ball. There seems to be no limit in how far I go. Are you controlling this at all? If not, you could regulate this in the update function with a simple if statement comparing speed to a float variable (say private static float maxSpeed = 20f; or something of the sort).

Other then that, maybe try adding some tilt to the level, or progression.. Say the next level the platform rocks side to side etc. Feel free to add me on Skype if you need help.
