LCPDFR 1.1 Makes the graphics glitchy

Featured Replies

Hello once again, heres the problem. I can load LCPDFR just fine, hell it works now, but at a certain point in the map or at some boundry, the game starts to lose its graphics. Almost everything disappears until I look at it. I have heard that modded car's poly count could cause this, this is not the case as i've used the same car for every LCPDFR update and the game works fine (except for the taser, had to delete a file so it wouldnt crash every 5-10mins.)

This problem is called "Texture Loss," caused by GTA IV thinking it dosen't have enough resources.  There are several ways you can combat this:

  1. Use Large Address Aware to give GTA IV more resources.
  2. Use commands to try and combat GTA IV's stubborness.  See http://gtaforums.com/topic/384473-ultimate-gtaiv-performance-fix/ for more details.
  3. Uninstall resource intensive scripts and models.
  4. Turn down graphics settings.
