Would the GTA V Recommended Specs Work With GTA IV Pretty Good?

Title says it all. I want to get the specs they recommend, but I would just like to make sure. I think they would, but you never know.

GTA: IV is not optimized very well. Yes, those settings can run GTA:V as they are the required settings the developer listed. Nobody on this forum including myself could tell you how many FPS you'll get on GTA:V with the recommended hardware they suggested. Assuming it's optimized better than GTA:IV was, it should run relatively smooth. 

 

GTA: IV however, isn't optimized and Rockstar has acknowledged this. They have delayed since January due to this very fact; they want to be sure the PC release is "ready".
