Hello guys.

 

I downloaded ELS V8 yesterday and installed it on my GTA 4 1.0.4.0 installation. I tried the provided dsound.dll with the latest 1.7.1.7a Scripthook which has to be used by Patch 1.0.4.0 Users.

 

I was using the Classic LAPD cars by kinksta but only one light was active and this was static as well. I disabled my trainer including the keys, tried to hit Ctrl+M but nothing showed up.

 

After i checked the asi.log and the advancedhook.log i found out that ELS was loading through dsound.dll but for some reason not through advancedhook.dll.

 

When i used the xlive.dll to get rid of the stupid GFWL message neither the asiloader nor advancedhook.dll loaded the ELS script.

After that i killed GTA4 with Alt+F4 thats why u won't find a Thread killed message in the last asilog.

 

I have checked all requirements which are needed for ELS V8 to work, and everything is done.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

 

AdvancedHook won't work on patch 4, that's why. You'll either have to install patch 7 or downgrade your ELS version to V6.

I've tested it with a clean 1070 installaton and it works without a problem there. So i think it's something wrong with either the scripthook or xlive/dsound.dll i am using.

Alright after another more deeper search on the forums i've found that out as well. It is a bit dissapointing for me but cant blame the developers of ELS.
