Hi everyone, I've searched the forms a bit to find an answer and also google and tried all the suggestions. My game will randomly crash. I'll load the LCPDFR mod just fine and start playing the game as normal. But I only play for 2 - 3 minutes and then the game crash and I get the windows notification of "GTA IV has stopped working" I have no idea what is cashing it. I can't link it to anything common that is happen in the game. it seems random. Does anyone know what kind of trouble shooting I can do? Here is a screen shot of the error message I get. Its not the exact one, i just found this on the web, but its the same message.

 

I am running OS window 7 professional X64

Memory 16GB DDR3

Intel Core i7 2600

Grapgics ASUS GTX570 1280MB

 

I apreaciate all the hard work that has been put into the mod and all the support from the community. But for the last month I have not been able to play the game. I installed a fresh copy of the game. ligal copy no mods just lcpd fr and same thing happens. In advancedhook i noticed this error and tried to find a solutiong but nothing.

Maybe, try using the manual installer (if you're using the auto one) I had the same issue for a while, and this seemed to solve it somehow. If you used the manual installer, then use the auto one maybe?

 

Also, the screenshot you posted doesn't appear to be showing.

I'm not all that familiar with the log files.  But the good news is that the advancehook and scripthook look correct(very common issue).  

 

But ELS is installed??  Because you failed to mention that and it makes it difficult for people to respond and pinpoint possible issues.

Yea, I have never really diagnosed issues through LCPDFR and any related mod log files. The knowledge base and maybe admins and support staff would be best in this case.

 

 

I've figured out some problems through past experiences of trial and error testing.

 

I can't be sure if the poster has linked the most updated logs,  but I think one of them shows ELS is installed and has 9 vehicle slots enabled.   Which is more than the default has on I think.   I am only speculating,  but the poster may have changed quite a few .ini settings or maybe using a custom one.  Which I do not know if it has any effect.   My scope of knowledge ends there and will have to leave for someone else to try.

 

 

But before MIGHTY can get help,  need to post a bit more about the install process and files used.

 

 

Maybe if a Mod can post the checklist of items/needed files to verify before going through support.   

Hi Guys I did a fresh install with only LCPD FR NO ELS, no cars first time and it still caused the same crash as having ELS. I do now have els V8 installed with all Police cars from DDoppler also his ENBs. I tested the game with only llcpd fr and it crased after accepting the first callout. after a manual install it crashed after the third callout. I also have Callout + 0.7 installed
