Yesterday the game worked fine, no crashes however after playing it today I get gtaivbrowser.exe has stopped working. 

 

What the hell is a gtabrowser anyway?

 

Why is it making my game crash when loading my game?

 

I have checked online and I found out you need to untick read only in the folder, done that but still crash due to the browser. 

I think the ggtaivbrowser.exe that when you start the game and you can choose to start the EFLC/GTA IV

Try that cut out of the EFLC folder and paste desktop

And start the game maybe work

If you launch from EFLC then it causes problems to the game like drunk camera and exploding vehicles. This is a way of R* attacking piracy for the people who got it illegally. Even though I have a legitimate copy it will always do this. I don't know how to fix the browser crash :/

Omg, I never seen someone talk slow as that ever. XDD. 

 

Yeah his point was about commandlines which I already have. It does not take any effect to my game since I have to use a commandline from steam properties. If I add a commandline in the root directory of EFLC it does not work but when I add it on steam properties it works somehow.. 

 

If anyone knows about gta4browser.exe it would be really helpful.

Thanks for trying to help, I did re install it a day ago and I have a backup but it's just gta4browser that's my problem.

Okay I don't get the browser error but now I can't play the game for 5 minutes. -.- 

 

It crashes when I play LCPDFR for 5 minutes. Smh.

 

I am so close to be done with gta.

Could be the mods, i completely re-installed my vehicles to the original and before I used these mods altogether and it never crashed, but now the game decides to crash? ._.

I don't know i have same problems, sometimes i can play just 5 min sometimes i can play if i want 2 hours

I usually played the game without any crashes at all. Now I can barely play it. It's just a waste of time having to try and fix this :/

30 mins ago i get that ***** LCPDFR.loader.loader error and i needed to reinstall the whole game, but i have no problems (now)

is no one making backup of their games in case of crashes :P if the problem is still there I can try to help when I get off work
