I know my PC isn't exactly built to run GTAIV but I decided to try it again. No mods apart from LCPDFR 1.0D

Also, could someone say how to report my status to dispatch? Using a controller but obviously if it's on keyboard only I'll use that

not trying to be rude or something but I don't think people want to see laggy gameplays on the lowest graphics, I think you should just play for yourself and let the people with those beast pcs do the recordings :) (not me, I have a shitty pc XD)

I'll hold off on recording til I get a better GPU in a few weeks (It's what's making the game run so bad). GTX 670 TI 2GB is £75 in a local store. GTX 550 is £50. What would be a better one for IV on Med-High with LCPDFR and modded emergency vehicles?

I really don't know anything about pc parts so I can't help you with that :p

What is your monitor resolution, what CPU are you running at what speed? 4/8/16GB ram? For 25 more go with the 670Ti. What is your power supply wattage?

Let's see

Monitor Resolution is 1360X768

CPU is i3-3220

No idea what my PS is.

6GB of RAM

Okay so you have a core i3 prbly at 2.4-2.8Ghz I'm guessing. That isn't a deal breaker but that is not the strongest in today's power. Your monitor resolution is low, when I say low I don't mean bad. I mean its not 1920X1080 where the PC is going to have to work much harder to draw each frame.

The 670Ti would be a nice card to get, and when and if you get a bigger monitor you will be in the clear however that card requires 500 watt PSU. Realistically you would need a 650w for overhead and to run the rest of the PC.

6gb of RAM is good, are you running Windows 64 bit? Win7?

If your power supply is below 650 you would have to look at a weaker card or upgrade the PSU.

I am not sure what you use the computer for mostly, but answer my questions and we will see where we can go.

Okay, so is it 64 bit? Your power supply wattage? You PC is it store bought? You also need to check the dimensions of the case vs the 670Ti to make sure you have enough room and power.

It is 64 bit, don't know PSW (Will check when I get to my PC), it is an ACER M19785 (I think that's the right name) with a GT610 currently.
