U.S. Marshal Vehicle Pursuit Through My City(Audio)

Featured Replies

U.S. Marshals had a chase through my city this morning. The vehicle they chased had an alert for burglary out of a different county here in Minnesota. Decided to post this since I have never heard of anything like this. Leave your thoughts below! I thought there was great communication throughout. Nice execution of a perimeter, as it was a perimeter officer who spotted the second suspect.

I'd say U.S. marshal service executes federal courts decisions, like tracking fugitives, serving warrants, providing protection for witnesses, and they also guard federal courts. In NYC I had a conversation with a uniformed marshal and he even allowed me to take a pic with me holding his fancy badge (that famous star)

The U.S. Marshal service is part of the United states department of justice and tasked with carrying out any tasks required of it on a federal level, reporting directly to the US federal court system. Those duties are all listed by hastings post above.
