Featured Replies

I've been playing without ELS for a while and I've been running fine but when I installed it with LCPDFR it give me the error message "LCPDFR has encountered an error, which has been logged toLCPDFR.log, Please see the logfile for further details and report the issues at LCPDFR.com This error may lead to unexpected behavior and it is recommended to restart the game. We're sorry for the inconvenience". My log is attached.

you have modded cars?

edit: i have 2 ideas, you installed wrong the LCPDFR because i see in the log something problem with the taser and another things or the ELS doesn't support the modded cars what you downloaded (if you downloaded modded cars)

So which one do I download, I don't know how to get 1.0a, b, or c. Just 1.0d and 0.95.

you download the 1.0d but when the internet ask choose what you want choose the first one, if not the first choose this 1. LCPD First Response 1.0d_2 Automatic Install.zip

and when the download done install it and don't install any mods to the GTA IV just the LCPDFR and the game again crash just with the game have a problem

I don't understand that last part.

As stated before, AdvanceHook.dll that's in the ELS V8 download is an outdated version, and will not work with LCPDFR 1.0d.  Please install 1.0d, get it working (if you haven't already), and re download ELS V8.  Copy the folders common, and ELS, and the files ELS.asi, and ELS.ini from the ELS V8 installation folder, and paste them into your GTA IV root (whether you use an actual copy of the game or the Steam version).  Hopefully that helps if you haven't gotten it figured out.

Make sure that if you're using ELS, you have ELS enabled cars.  The standard cars in the game will not work with ELS (the light bars will be all screwed up).  To learn how to operate ELS, just Google "ELS V8 Controls."
