Officers have completed their search of Palomares Junior High. No device or suspicious package was found. We are continuing our investigation and encourage.
 
Pomona Police Officers were dispatched to a bomb threat at Palomares Junior High (2211 North Orange Grove Ave) earlier this afternoon. Officers using bomb detection dogs are currently searching and securing the campus.
All students and staff are safe and have been moved.
Students will be released to a parent or authorized guardian at 3:00 PM. Release location will be moved away from the school. For today only, the release location for all students will take place on Orange Grove Ave, south of Arrow Hwy.
Please exercise patience in this area due to the police activity and added congestion.

I heard about that as well, but just today. I live in Baltimore too, strange.

Happens over here too, every once in a while. It's pretty much always a student who either hates school, or who didn't feel like taking some test that day, and apparently the best way to delay a test or show some hate is by calling the cops about a bomb. Strange people...
