I recently installed a brit police uniform pack but want to revert back to USA style

I forgot to backup the old files

Does anyone know of a USA police pack and can they link a download to it?

or anyone have copies of the originals?

It's not allowed to distribute original game files so I doubt anybody will give you their files or provide you with a link. I suggest you take a look at gtapolicemods or GTAIV mods for some uniforms or reinstal the game to revert back to the original.

What are you on about? Anyone can distribute backup files as long as they are not making money from copyrighted material.

That is talking more in the terms of stealing content and models from other modders and developers and then releasing them and saying they are you own.

@Tom H: yes, the community guidelines don't say anything about uploading game data but read the topic I linked. It has been said a couple of times by various staff members that sharing original game files is not allowed.
