my lights won't turn on, i dont think and what keys do what? its beenabout three weeks trying to desperately figure this all out right.... i just wanna play it with my lights working...

Do you have ELS installed?

In the correct place?

Both files?

And the cars you want to use are ELS models?

And they are listed as active in the ELS config file?

I installed the els v6 the first 4 files in the root folder, and then the visual dll one in the common> data file... it says its for the 1.0.7.0 version, i havent checked that config, i have no clue what anything is, im just trying over and over to follow alot of directions, and im stuck now with no working lights, unless im using the wrong buttons

Please answer all the questions in my post so I can make further suggestions.

Have you read the info pdf that is provided with the download to tell you how to use the mod and install the cars? Have you looked at the .ini configuration file to learn the controls?

i read a few and it seems as though they all just say to import the police file in vehicle.img, so that was the only thing ive been doing, where exactly is this... arent the els controls the same for each car? no?

What vehicle are you trying to use it with?

Is that vehicle listed as active in the configuration file?

Controls are alt+m to open the menu, J for primary lights, K for warning lights, L for visibility lights, U, I and O for pattern changing and G for siren.

You'll be able to tell if ELS is active as soon as you get in the car as your location (street name and suburb) will appear below your minimap for ELS cars.

when do i replace things and when do i not? and there are 2 scripthook.dll files, one is a file, the other is an application, which one do i copy to the main directory? it then asks me to replace or no? the other file is newer..

You only need to install the scripthook files that come with ELS if you don't already have them. Because you run LCPDFR, you should have them.

By the looks of your config file, ELS is enabled on all of your emergency cars so as long as you are using the right keys and you have ELS cars, and the ELS files are in the right folder as you told me, it should work.

For reference:

You'll be able to tell if ELS is active as soon as you get in the car as your location (street name and suburb) will appear below your minimap for ELS cars.

If your using simple native trainer you need to go into the options and enable keys

You need to disable keys....

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.
