how do i set up police.ini or where do i put it in the els folder or how do i get it to work? 

The ELS folder goes into your main GTAiv folder...

 

From there the car you use will always use the default .ini config unless you change the slot..i haven't managed to do this so just use the default config...(if anyone knows how to do this let me know!)

 

using an ELS enabled car, push J 3 times and the lights will come on... then G for the siren...T changes the sound...

You copy the files from installation and paste it in your GTAIV/EFLC main directory.

You put the config file in the ELS folder (the folder is located in your main GTA IV directory), then change the _SLOTCONTROL file to make the vehicle you wish to use this config file actually use it.

 

If you want [ POLICE ] to use the police.ini config file, then you would do this:

 

[ POLICE ]

Status = on

File = police

 

As for the config file itself, everything is explained in the documentation that comes with ELS. It's way too much to explain in a forum post.
