When i go on duty with LCPDFR, i notice an unrealistic amount of police cars spawning in game.

Is there a way to reduce the amount of police cars spawning in game?

Use either "Traffic Load" or "Traffic Flow" available in the download section here. Basically what you are experiencing is the taxi bug but with police cars instead of taxis. The above mods will spawn civilian vehicles other than taxis or police cars instead so that you have more of a variety of vehicles in your game.
