Hey guys I have a bit of a problem...

When I start gta iv with lcpdfr installed I try to load my game but it will crash after the black loading screen with text in the bottom right. It was working yesterday until I changed to a different car pack im not sure if thats the problem though. Other than that I haven't made any other modifications than that. When I don't have lcpdfr installed the game runs fine.

I've tried:

  • Deleting my save file and restarting.
  • Running in Administrator mode.
  • Deleting SETTINGS.cfg
  • Changing my car pack to the old one.

Hope there is a fix.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have a file called oldsession.fr in your GTA IV main folder?

Yes I do, I think its because when I crashed with 1.0d the lcpdfr thing that trys to put you back in the same spot didn't work properly because I'm running 1.0c fine

I have the oldsession.fr in my GTA IV main folder what should I do with it now

Delete it along with the savegame.fr file and that should fix your problem.
