and I get the SMPA30 error. I am trying not to do a clean installation but if I must, I will... anyone help?

 

Did you install them all at once? 

From a bit of Googling, this seems to be either caused by the resident.rpf file or the pedvariants.dat file.

 

I suggest you replace both these files with defaults and see what happens.

Where can I find these files?  I'm having the same issue, I just don't know where they're located within the game's directory.
