ELS V.8 and LCDFR 1.0C causing GTA IV to crash.

Featured Replies

I've used this game before, and it worked perfectly with ELS V.7 and LCPDFR 0.95.

I want to continue utilizing the V.7 and 0.95, but now my PC is crashing after installing ELS. It ill also run the loading screen with the artwork forever, and not open the game. I can install 0.95 and it works fine, but after ELS the game won't start up.

I remember there being an automatic downloader for ELS V.7 & SNT, that was the only download that works for me, however that site has disappeared.

I need someone to help me through this process! Please provide instructions in simple terminology. I simply want to go back to 0.95 and ELS V.7...is that possible?

I've found that this widespread problem can be solved by disabling ClearRandAiExtrasSp, changing your asi loader, and disabling ELS AI altogether (in ELS.ini).  Also, individual vehicle configuration files with enabled cruise lights could be problematic.

As for finding version 7 of the Emergency Lighting System, it is still avaliable on LCPD:FR here: https://www.lcpdfr.com/files/download/2985-emergency-lighting-system/
