A major incident has now been declared as a Glasgow City Council Refuse Truck has crashed in George Square killing several people. 

 

My thoughts go out to all affected by this horrific incident especially at this festive time.

I saw this pop up on my phone a few minutes ago - terribly sad news. Seeing people getting hit by vehicles is truly horrific, and it has certainly left me with a few scars. May those affected find peace in their family and friends.

 

I will be interested to find out the cause of the crash, though I suspect it may be sometime before we get a picture of what happened.

Jesus. Bad enough happening at any other time of the year, but truly horrific for anyone to lose a friend or family member so close to Christmas. Thoughts go to all affected and to the Emergency First Responders valiantly battling on to rescue any survivors.
