can not get gta 4 to load

Hello guy i made this topic because i cant get gtaiv to load it gives me this d3dx9_40.dll and say lauch gta iv error can any one give me help on what to do thanks

im getting this lauch GTA IV error .exe The program cant start because d3dx9_40.dll is missing from your compurter try reinstalling it it fix this problem.

Hm, did you try installing any graphic mods like EnB recently?

Did you make any back ups of the files it replaces?

And judging by the fact you can't join our MP games because "Your PC is running too slowly" I highly advise you don't use EnB

Well then you'll have to reinstall GTA IV

Make backups next time you attempt to mod something.

typoupdate your version of DirectX.date my version of DirectX.? because i found this: If you get an error message saying something along the lines of "D3DX9_40.dll missing" this means you need to update your version of DirectX.

and also get the LCPDFR diagnostics tool then paste the diagnostics in this topic.
