Have been trying to figure out what the issue is, but I'm not sure what will cause this, everytime I try to boot up EFLC I get this, any ideas?

Is the game a legal CD copy, or was it downloaded through a torrent?

I've never downloaded or torrented GTA..

It happened quite a few times with my GTA IV Disc. Just had to keep trying and it worked.

Is it a problem within windows?

this has happened to me too. it happened right after a crash and i reloaded the game immediately then it couldn't read the disc. what i did was re insert the disc and waited for the computer to recognize it with a notification. that way i knew for sure the disc was being read. if that is not your issue then please check to make sure your dvd drivers and player are updated and current. have you tried inserting another game disc to see if that one was having issues as well?
