I don't know if this is the topic/forum. I was wondering if this pc build could play all of the following.

• Arma 3

Arma 2

Grand theft auto V(GTA5 for when it comes out)

Grand theft auto IV

battle field 3

battle field 4

Dead island

Crysis 3

all metro city's

And a lot of games like that to medium-high-max settings.

That should handle them all just fine (with the possible exception of GTA V as its spec requirements aren't known at this time).

 

I have the following and I can run most games maxed out:

 

AMD FX-6350 6-core 3.9GHz

8GB RAM

AMD Sapphire R7 265 2GB

(Motherboard, PSU and HDD aren't that important, but if you really want to know my motherboard, just ask).

 

Also, if you want to save a bit of money, try going for AMD products, as they normally get the same performance, while being a whole lot cheaper than Intel and nVidia.

That should handle them all just fine (with the possible exception of GTA V as its spec requirements aren't known at this time).

For a case, I'd suggest you buy the cheapest thing you can find, provided it can hold all your parts.

 

I myself, am not the most experienced with building computers, so maybe I'm not the best to ask. 

I would suggest getting a bigger HDD 500GB will fill up fast when it comes to large install games, this is if you can afford it 

Tell me what you guys think of this, and if it should run most/all games on high/max settings above 40+ FPS

Looks great, but two things:

1. You can get the processor at MicroCenter for like $180 right now

2. That hard-drive you linked is an internal, not an external

 

(I am referring to your most recent post, right above me)

If you want I can build a newegg pc cart for around the same price. So far I have build 2 carts for people in LCPDFR. I can probably make this more powerful than that. Just PM me your budget, any must-haves, and any company in particular you would lean towards.

If you could quote me back with a budget that would be helpful, just so I can know what you are willing to spend. With the build I suggested you should have no issues running any of the games above on medium-high settings. Also, if something is really cheap it is cheap for a reason. It is not a good idea to go with a cheap PSU, because that is what controls the power to the whole entire PC. It is also not a good idea to go cheap on the case either, a cheaper case could result in bad airflow thus, resulting in reducing the longevity on your components. Remember to quote me if you need help with anything else.
