Default Car Components

Featured Replies

I've lately been seeing a lot of Futo's driving around the map with no hood. After doing some testing, that's one of the car components that can be selected through the trainer, along with a few other Hood options.

I never used to see this option with the AI traffic though, so I think I broke something recently while messing with some vehicle mods. I tried looking around through the common/data folder to see if there were any config files that dealt with car components, and I found some reference to car extras in the "default.ide" file, but I couldn't really find a specific section of that file that looked like it was referencing which components go on which cars.

Does anyone have any experience with setting specific car components to spawn with certain cars?

The extras are mainly handled at the end of the vehicles.ide line for that vehicle as far as I know. Make sure the Futo has "ext_gang+ext_all+ext_strong" since these are the default flags.

Yeah, that was probably it. The Futo line currently has this "strong+truckfirefx". Weird...

Anyway I put the other flags back in and that seems to have fixed the issue; thanks a lot!
