Is This Illegal?

Featured Replies

I think NicolaiB got straight to the point. Seem to recal reading somewhere it only really matters if you are charging people and making money from it. In that case who ever owns the logo (FORD for example) want their cut.

That why R* don't use real models / logos

It may very well be illegal, just like it's illegal to be on the phone while driving, but you're not going to get fined for doing so when calling the emergency services.

It doesn't hurt Ford, Motorola, Whelen, Federal Signal, etc. in any way that their products are depicted in third party modifications that are available for free. You can bet your arse that they will dispatch a seize and desist letter faster than a fat kid hurries to MacD if someone were to charge money for the mods.

I think that it does not matter, no-one's losing any money from it.

I took it this way-because we're not making money from it.Thats why they won't sue us.

What about Humster3D,then?
