Hi my name is Sean I'm a firefighter in pa. I've always love gta and I'm getting a new computer and gta 4 on it specifically to mod and play lcpdfr. I really want to download the gangreen script mod fire fighting and paramedic I have absolutely no idea where to start and I can't find a tutorial anywhere or step by step directions on doing this. I wanna know how to add multiple fire trucks EMS units and the different liveries and the whole light controls thing and siren mods. Can I put specific sirens on specific vehicles? What programs do I need to download to begin modding, and can a play with a 360 controller plugged into the USB port? Then use the chat pad to do everything I've been looking for a good week for a tutorial or step by step directions and what kind of computer spec, etc should I look for that's in a $300ish budget give or take $50 bucks you can email or comment me when ever this will keep me occupied through EMS duty nights on my 12 hour stand by and free time very appreciated from a fellow gta lover

I can answer most. however with gangreen's fire fighter script i'm not 100% sure, but since it's a script then it should just install like every other script, there should be a readme file within the download that gives you instructions on how to install it.

as for vehicle mods, to "add" cars you'll need a program called OpenIV, then you'll need to add them from there. although it may be a bit of a struggle to do it as a beginner (YouTube should have a few tutorials on how to do it), for liveries a mod can support up to 4 liveries (although it could be more) so with the 4 liveries you can use in game you'll need to put +livery at the end of that specificc vehicle "line" in the Vehicle.ide or Vehicle.DAT file (not sure which one it is). As for sirens, you can only use one siren since GTA uses one siren for all emergency vehicles, so you can add a siren for different vehicles unfortunately.

For your controller, yes you can use a controller for your driving, ped walking, shooting etc and then use your numpad for the scripts (i have done this since i started playing gta 4 on the PC). and for your budget, you might be able to get a PC for that price, although normally for a decent gaming computer it is normally $500. just look on google for GTA 4 PC Specs and find a PC suitable with the specs (get something just a little bit over so you can run smoothly with mods)

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

There is a faster way for installing mods, there is a GTA IV Car Mod Installer, select the file or archive with the .wtd files..etc Hit next, if there is a text doc with handling data and vehicle ide it will install that too, super fast and simple
