In your opinion,when do you think LCPDFR .95 RC2 or the official .95 will come out? I watched NB's Vids and in the new release it looks like we can give parking tickets (YAY!), Proper taser (We know lots about it) and some new callouts. Not to mention searching the suspents boot or trunk for you Americans.

Only time will tell. We don't know what's happening. What I can say is that the Testing versions have been great.

Ah so from about 42 minutes in he takes out and uses his taser (not his pistol) on some suspects and then at about 44 minutes he receives the parking ticket prompt.

'You can issue a parking ticket to an occupied stationary vehicle by approaching the driver's side door and pressing E'

Also the part at about 30 minutes where a police are already chasing someone and he pressed [e] to join the pursuit. Is that something they've been working on and isn't available in RC1 or is it just really really rare?

Joining a pursuit by pressing E is already in 0.95RC1. However, I've only encountered it a few times.

NB Videos, of which there are many, are the work of one of the community team at LCPDFR.COM. I will let him name himself allthough it's not that hard to work out who :)

He has for for a long time posted "preview" vids. In those vids you will see him using the nightly builds the testers get and as such by watching you get an idea of what is being tested and how far along the devs are witht the work.

If you click on his channel you can watch all the other Preview issues as well.

As for when will .95RC2 be released it's never helpfull or constructive imo to speculate. The devs will give us a date when they feel their product has reached a stage when they can release that particular version. All it does is put pressure on people allready overworked.

However Sam himself has said in a New year post that the wait for RC2 is nearly over. Take from that what you will. Could be next week or next month. Or they could have run into unforseen issues since then and it could be 6 months. Though I don't think so :)

We all have to be patient.I too would love to be able to play RC2 but am more than happy to wait till it's been polished to the devs satisfaction.

In the meantime we are lucky enough to have RC1 :)

lol no. I'm not a tester, so I only have access to the same LCPDFR version as you do :)

And I think NBVids is the only place authorised to upload vids of version in test phase anyway.

Edit: To answer post below. Done a while ago. not happy with it. Had taxi bug issues at the time as well as graphic issues.

working on something new but its taking forever :P I might do a few new short vids in the meantime though to fill out my channel :)

I use "nightly" builds, as well as a modified taser, working with the new taser deployment system in RC2.

There's been a varying amount of random "world events" as they're called, most of which can be seen in various videos.

One of the remaining issues on RC2, is an update of the Crime Stats, and how your install is authenticated with the LCPDFR servers, but there is currently no release date set.

Keep in mind that all the guys that are working on it has work and/or schoolwork to take care of as well, LCPDFR is made in their spare time, and are not paid anything for their work, they pay for the sever costs, and other expenses out of their own pockets. Which says a damn lot about their dedication to the mod, and all of you in the community.

Yes, I have also experienced a mugging while I were on patrol, I ended up ending it in the humane way, and shot him in the back with a shotgun.

yea tehy said it was out in rc1 but iv seen it a few times rare now
