Is there anything extra I need for multiplayer? Second of all, how can I find servers that run LCPDFR?

All I saw was "closed".

My bad...from what I know it was a group of LCPDFR enthusiasts who had some guidelines so they could all play multiplayer together. Then they disbanded...a few days ago re opened....now it says closed. IDK what is going on but your best bet is to hope someone who wants to play multiplayer replies to this post.

There is also another multiplayer thread NOT stickied somewhere here in discussion. A couple people swapped names so they could play. Modded cars, elsv6, traffic flow, lcpdfr, thats what makes the game for me and in multiplayer you must drop a lot of the modding.

I've been in the group.

Basically they either choose a vanilla copy of EFLC/GTA, or they give you mods that are mandatory to install for texture loss reasons.

Then someone goes through the regular GFWL multiplayer setup session through the phone in-game and invites people to the game.

I'm pretty sure TeamSpeak was involved with dispatch.

I was one of the first members in the group so I'll try to clear up some confusion;

• We only played on a vanilla copy of GTA IV as not everyone on here owns EFLC
  
• We used the DAS mod (Check some screenshots on the topic and you'll see it in the top left corner)
  
• If modded cars were used, we all had to use the same ones to avoid crashing
  
• At first, only one person ran LCPDFR while the others acted as back up units
  
• Eventually everyone ran LCPDFR at once
  
• Games were set up like a normal GTA IV Lobby
  
• Teamspeak wasn't introduced until near the end of the group.
