Increasing the brightness of traffic lights?

Featured Replies

Alright, so me, being the awesome role player that I am in GTA IV, like to drive semi-realistically and obey traffic laws, which includes stopping at red lights. However, after switching to CryENB V2, I have a hard time seeing the traffic lights, especially during the daytime since they have been significantly dimmed.

Is there anyway to increase the brightness of the lights? I have messed around with the "trafficLight.intensity" line in the visualsettings.dat with no effects whatsoever.

I think I've seen something related to traffic light brightness in visualsettings.dat. I'll have a look for you.

I have a ENB, but this all I could find regarding the traffic lights.

#Config values for traffic lights
# trafficLight.red.color 1.00 0.10 0.00
trafficLight.red.color.red 1.00
trafficLight.red.color.green 0.10
trafficLight.red.color.blue 0.00
# trafficLight.amber.color 1.00 0.30 0.00
trafficLight.amber.color.red 1.00
trafficLight.amber.color.green 0.30
trafficLight.amber.color.blue 0.00
# trafficLight.green.color 0.10 0.40 0.10
trafficLight.green.color.red 0.10
trafficLight.green.color.green 0.40
trafficLight.green.color.blue 0.10
trafficLight.intensity 20.00
trafficLight.falloffMax 14.00
trafficLight.innerConeAngle 25.00
trafficLight.outerConeAngle 90.00

I think the file I used is lightsemissivestrong in the shader files...I used the default shader and my stop lights work perfectly...

This worked for me, thanks!
