Is the 2013 Apple 15'' retina display a good laptop for gaming like LCPDFR?

 

Not.....really. I have a 2014 15" with most of the higher end options that I use as a side computer as well for college and playing GTA IV is...stable, but not maxed out. Laptops, and especially a mac, will probably not be your best bet if you're looking for a computer to play games on. I highly suggest you build a desktop pc.

 

If you really need a Laptop but want to play games there are other options that will defiantly better. A Macbook Pro is more of a all around computer, but it definiatley isn't a power house. Even with the specs I have (And I paid $2,500+ for mine). I can play games on mine, but I choose softer games that aren't so spec hungry. Such as source games and indie games that have pix-elated graphics.
