Running into quite a few issues

Featured Replies

I was able to get my lightbars working, but some issues still remain.

1) I can't accept a call. I've programed my left D-pad for that, as well as the original "Y" key, but neither work. The only way I can accept a call is if I get out of my car and press Y, and only then does it sometimes work.

2) If I do end up successfully accepting and completing a call, upon completion I get a little telephone logo with an X through it in the bottom left corner of my screen. I can't get rid of it, and I can longer receive calls because I'm still "busy". I can toggle between busy and not busy, and I get the prompt at the top-left corner saying "you are no longer busy/are busy and will receive/will not receive calls", but the little logo on the bottom left won't go away and I won't get any calls.

3) It's a nightmare trying to program the controller to do specific things. My most successful programming was to get rid of the tactics wheel that came up when I clicked the left thumbstick. Anyone have any suggestions?

4) I downloaded the dashcam mod but when I launched GTA, just before I could physically control my character, I got a notice at the top saying Dash Cam Error.

5) Unrelated to the gaming portion, but I had the GTA vehicle installer v1.2 working fine. It was able to find the "path to game" and had the green checkmark and all I had to do was choose to location of the car file. A while later I tried to load another car I downloaded, but now there was a red "X" next to the "path to game" field, even though the location was the exact same as before (program files x86, steam, steamapps, common, GTAIV.....". Tried reinstalling, same issue.

This is really getting on my nerves as I built my PC 95% for this game. Some please help. Thank you.

I apologize for making these posts, but I am very frustrated.

Hello, I come in peace ^_^

I see you have some issues, I have a tip for you... Only install one mod at at time, and only after mastering your first mod.... Then move on towards your next one... Figuring out which keys (controls) work for you takes time, and comes with trial and errors...

After reading your top 2 issues it's looks like you have your keys (controls) conflicting one another, you need to go back to the stock LCPDFR.ini setup and understand what each key does and write it down and try to program them accordingly without conflicting them, also to note if your using a controller along with the key board which everyone does , DONT have both (keypad & xbox controller) working for 1 TASK, thats can cause a Lag along with conflicting issues, Second for the X phone icon in the lower left corner could mean you need to complete your (Status Update) you can only do this by knowing your keys (controls) that's why I recommend you going back to the stock controls and understanding them, while reading the LCPDFR control manual to know what does what.

If you are able to post a Clear picture of your LCPDFR.ini controls, we might be able to clear out some of your problems. If your unable to do that then follow the tips I have for you Above, and below..

Install only LCPDFr 1.0c mod with your clean/fresh GTA installation and master the stock controls ^_^

Then you can start adding other mods.... One At A TiME ^_^
